## About the Role
The Associate Financial Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the company’s sales and operational teams to fulfill customer needs effectively. This position is responsible for managing multiple priorities while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial documents and billing records. The specialist will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external vendors to maintain contractual compliance and enhance service delivery.

The primary objectives of this role include managing customer inquiries, resolving disputes, maintaining billing integrity, and supporting monthly financial processes. The role aims to balance profitability with client satisfaction, thereby contributing to the organization’s overall operational success.

## Key Responsibilities
– **Revenue & Cost Management**
– Maintain the integrity and security of billing records and financial documentation.
– Track customer spending and purchase order utilization; ensure timely renewals to prevent service gaps.
– Process third-party vendor invoices and validate associated costs.
– Conduct margin analysis to meet profitability targets.

– **Customer Engagement**
– Manage customer inquiries and disputes, ensuring effective resolutions that prioritize profitability and satisfaction.
– Oversee customer dashboard management, including contract dates and billing.

– **Operational Process**
– Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality assurance (QA) standards for invoicing and contracts.
– Recommend and implement enhancements to billing and reporting systems to increase data accuracy and reduce manual efforts.

– **Billing Coding Management**
– Manage ticket-level coding and validation to guarantee compliance with internal controls.

– **Financial & Month-End Management**
– Support month-end processes, including accruals, sales order creation, and invoice generation.
– Work in coordination with the finance team to ensure accurate revenue recognition and adherence to financial policies.
– Perform ongoing margin analysis and cost performance evaluations to uphold operational profitability.

## Required Skills
– Understanding of billing, revenue, accruals, and data integrity concepts.
– Experience in customer engagement and dispute resolution within a contractual framework.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
– Strong analytical skills and capability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume service environment.
– Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.

## Preferred Skills
