## About the Role
The Lean IT Governance team supports technology and IT service management by aligning priorities with business strategy, improving efficiency, reducing risk, and making better use of technology investments. This role focuses on financial control, operational analysis, and support for decision-making across the technology area.
You will work closely with Technology, Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders to track spend, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for cost optimization. The position also includes improving internal processes through automation and exploring practical AI use cases that can increase productivity.
## Key Responsibilities
– Support short-, medium-, and long-term technology budgeting, including the budget and three-year plan.
– Consolidate and monitor actuals, forecasts, and budgets for technology areas.
– Update and analyze financial indicators to identify risks, variances, and optimization opportunities.
– Manage the financial follow-up of vendors, contracts, and technology-related expenses.
– Maintain and evolve executive and operational dashboards for cost, capacity, and productivity tracking.
– Perform ad hoc analyses to support leadership decisions.
– Build automations for financial and operational processes to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
– Identify opportunities to apply AI in process improvement, insight generation, and productivity gains.
– Support cost reduction initiatives and savings tracking.
– Partner with Technology, Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
## Required Skills
– Experience in IT Governance, Technology Finance, or a related area.
– Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
– Experience designing management dashboards.
– Experience in project- and product-oriented technology environments.
– Advanced Excel skills.
– Knowledge of financial and productivity metrics.
– Experience managing vendors and contracts.
– Experience automating processes with VBA, Power Automate, and AI tools.
– Experience using demand management tools such as Jira.
– Strong communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder-management skills.
## Preferred Skills
– Experience in the financial or banking sector.
– Knowledge of FinOps, Technology Governance, or Portfolio Management.
– Experience with cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives.
