# About the Role
Riachuelo’s Technology team is hiring a Senior Data Governance Analyst to help build its data governance and data cost discipline. The role is focused on structuring governance practices, improving visibility into data platform consumption, and supporting more efficient use of data-related resources.
This position will play an important part in mapping the data ecosystem, tracking usage across pipelines, storage, processing, and tools, and turning that information into actionable dashboards and reports. It is suited to someone who wants to work at the intersection of data governance and financial efficiency from the ground up.
The role works in partnership with engineering teams and data analysts to establish standards, promote best practices, and support decision-making through clear metrics and analysis.
# Key Responsibilities
– Support the implementation of data governance and data cost management practices.
– Map data consumption across pipelines, storage, processing, and tools.
– Build and maintain dashboards that track data usage.
– Analyze usage patterns and identify cost optimization opportunities.
– Define development best practices with a focus on financial efficiency.
– Help create governance efficiency metrics and indicators.
– Work with engineering and data analyst teams to promote good practices.
– Contribute to the definition of data governance standards.
– Produce analyses and reports to support decision-making.
# Required Skills
– Degree in a technology-related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related area.
– Experience with data analysis and dashboard development.
– Experience with cost management or cost analysis in cloud, technology, or related areas.
– Experience administering data platforms such as Databricks, S3, ADLS, warehouses, and similar tools.
– Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
– Strong SQL skills and data manipulation experience.
– Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

– Experience with FinOps frameworks.
– Certifications related to Databricks, AWS, Azure, LGPD, or similar topics in data architecture and governance.
– Experience in or formal education related to data governance.
