## About the Role
This role leads IT financial governance for two business units, establishing cost models, cost centers, and allocation policies across the technology portfolio.
The position manages annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecasts, supports Capex and Opex governance, and translates infrastructure initiatives into financial analyses covering investment, operating costs, total cost of ownership, and return on investment.
Working with Infrastructure, Procurement, FinOps, Finance, Controllership, and business unit leaders, the role connects technology decisions with financial impact, cost transparency, and value generation.

## Key Responsibilities
– Lead IT financial governance for two business units.
– Design and manage cost models, cost centers, and cost allocation policies.
– Implement and improve Cost Allocation, Showback, and Chargeback models.
– Lead the annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast for an IT portfolio.
– Act as the focal point for Capex and Opex committees, preparing analyses and decision-making materials.
– Translate infrastructure projects and initiatives into Capex, Opex, TCO, and ROI analyses.
– Monitor budget execution through Budget vs. Actual vs. Forecast analysis.
– Identify budget deviations and cost optimization opportunities.
– Develop service costing, unit costing, and TCO models, including IT service cost benchmarks.
– Integrate FinOps, ITAM, and ITFM data to improve visibility into cloud costs, assets, contracts, and services.
– Support cost optimization, contract rationalization, and technology migration decisions.
– Partner with the Infrastructure Director, CFO, Controllership, and business unit leaders.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Experience in IT Financial Management, IT Finance, TBM, or FinOps, preferably in large organizations.
– Proven portfolio management experience in environments with multiple business units, suppliers, and cost allocation models.
– Experience implementing or restructuring ITFM, TBM, Showback, or Chargeback models.
– Direct experience working with Infrastructure Directors, CFOs, Finance teams, and business leaders.
– Experience with Capex/Opex committees, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
– Practical knowledge of TBM or COBIT, particularly in financial management.
– Strong knowledge of IT cost modeling, including absorption costing, ABC, and unit costing.
– Knowledge of FinOps across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including integration with ITFM.
– Knowledge of ITAM, asset and license management, and TCO.
– Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools for financial analysis and dashboards.
## Preferred Skills
– TBM Council certification, such as CTBME or equivalent.
– FinOps Foundation certification, such as FinOps Certified Practitioner or Engineer.
– Previous experience with M&A, spin-off, or IT operations unification projects.
– Experience in retail, logistics, or high-scale operations.
– Participation in ERP implementation projects or IT financial management system deployments.
