# Finance Operations Analyst

## About the Role

The Finance Operations Analyst will support core finance and business operations for a global technology company. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role covers billing, accounts payable and receivable, financial close, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational process improvement.

You will work closely with company leadership and the Korea office, manage monthly billing across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure, and provide accurate financial information to support business decisions. This is a fully remote position for candidates located in the continental United States.

## Key Responsibilities

– Manage the monthly billing cycle for AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure services.
– Reconcile cloud vendor charges with customer billing and resolve discrepancies, credits, and related inquiries.
– Support accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, payment requests, customer invoicing, collections, remittances, and payment application issues.
– Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts during month-end and year-end close.
– Assist with financial statement preparation.
– Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
– Analyze departmental spending against budget and report variances to leadership.
– Build and maintain financial, sales, and pipeline dashboards.
– Keep CRM data accurate and current.
– Support employee expenses, vendor onboarding, contracts, subscription records, and other operational activities.
– Identify process improvements and help implement scalable systems and controls.
– Use AI tools to analyze data, automate routine tasks, and improve workflows while validating outputs and protecting sensitive information.

## Required Skills

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
– Two to five years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or operations.
– Fluency in spoken and written Korean.
– High proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
– Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for data analysis, automation, and workflow improvement.
– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
– Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and cultures.
– Proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support responsibilities beyond a defined scope.

## Preferred Skills

– Experience with QuickBooks and the ability to learn new financial and operational tools quickly.
– Experience in the technology sector, including cloud, SaaS, or IT services.
– Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP.
– Exposure to corporate income tax, sales and use tax, and other state and local tax matters.

– Manage billing for AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure services.
– Reconcile cloud provider charges with customer invoices.
– Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and credits.
– Respond to customer and vendor billing inquiries.
– Analyze spending against budgets and report variances.
– Support forecasting and financial planning related to cloud business operations.
