## About the Role
The Data Platform Marketing Manager – SELECT by DoiT is a remote position for candidates based on the East Coast of the US, in the Central US, or in Canada. Reporting to the VP, Global Marketing, this role leads marketing for the SELECT / Data Platform business unit.
This position owns the go-to-market strategy for DoiT’s data lake and Snowflake optimization business. It partners closely with Sales leadership, Product leadership, and marketing functional heads to define priorities, sharpen audience focus, shape economic messaging, and run integrated programs across the data optimization market.
Success in the role is measured by a clear quarterly GTM strategy, centralized prioritization aligned to revenue, stronger differentiation in the market, growth in Snowflake-focused pipeline, and contributions to expansion and net-new pipeline.
## Key Responsibilities
– Own the business unit’s quarterly go-to-market strategy and translate revenue and expansion goals into marketing priorities.
– Define ICP segmentation across Snowflake customers, enterprise data teams, and cloud data platform operators.
– Centralize campaign prioritization across Growth, Content, BDR/MDR, and Creative.
– Ensure SELECT positioning is clearly differentiated in the data optimization market.
– Lead integrated campaign execution across:
– Growth and digital
– Paid search for Snowflake optimization
– LinkedIn targeting for data engineering and FinOps leaders
– Retargeting tied to data workload interest
– SDR campaign enablement and follow-up
– Content, including guides, playbooks, case studies, and economic value narratives
– Creative themes and visual positioning
– Build and manage strategic campaign briefs that align messaging, audience, and economic value.
– Own demand generation programs across digital campaigns, webinars, executive roundtables, and landing pages tied to measurable cost outcomes.
– Develop repeatable thought leadership themes around data efficiency and position SELECT as an optimization layer for Snowflake and additional data platforms.
– Align with Product and Business Unit Sales to highlight roadmap and innovation.
– Partner with Content, Growth, Sales, and RevOps to track performance and refine programs based on results.
## Required Skills
– 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or product marketing.
– Experience marketing to data engineering, data platform, or FinOps audiences.
– Familiarity with Snowflake, data lakes, or cloud data workloads.
– Strong strategic planning skills with hands-on execution capability.
– Demonstrated success driving pipeline growth in a technical B2B environment.
– Experience working closely with sales leadership.

## FinOps Responsibilities
– Support data lake cost governance and cloud cost efficiency for enterprise data workloads.
– Build messaging and campaigns around cost savings and measurable cost reduction outcomes.
– Develop economic value narratives tied to cost efficiency.
– Position SELECT as an optimization layer for Snowflake and additional data platforms.
– Track cost per lead, cost per meeting, conversion to opportunity, pipeline contribution, and influenced revenue.
– Drive pipeline and customer expansion based on measurable cost outcomes.
