# Cost Optimization Analyst

## About the Role

Command|Link is seeking a Cost Optimization Analyst to support cost analysis, reporting, auditing, and process improvement across the business. This 100% remote role is suited to someone who enjoys working with data, using Excel, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will begin by learning to audit, analyze, and organize cost information before taking ownership of projects that improve processes and support savings initiatives. The role works with multiple teams to validate information, resolve issues, manage project tasks, and present findings to leadership.

## Key Responsibilities

– Analyze cost data in Excel, identify discrepancies, and uncover savings opportunities.
– Support cost tracking, reporting, and documentation.
– Develop and improve auditing and reconciliation processes.
– Organize project tasks, monitor progress, and help meet deadlines.
– Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, verify accuracy, and resolve problems.
– Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership.
– Support special projects and ad hoc analyses.
– Take on additional responsibilities that support team and organizational goals.

## Required Skills

– Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
– One to three years of experience in an analytical, financial, operations, or business support role.
– Interest in process improvement and project management.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Curiosity and a problem-solving approach.
– Clear written and verbal communication skills.
– Self-motivation and willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
