# IT Strategy & Performance Analyst
## About the Role
The IT Strategy & Performance Analyst supports the Office of the CIO as an operational and analytical partner for financial planning, cost transparency, and IT performance management.
Working at the intersection of Finance and Technology, the role contributes to cost allocation, financial reporting, and data-driven decision-making. It collaborates with IT, Finance, budget owners, and market stakeholders to promote consistency and transparency in IT financial management.
The position also prepares executive-ready presentations and provides insights into financial performance, cost trends, and planning requirements.
## Key Responsibilities
– Maintain and support the IT cost allocation methodology based on a Technology Business Management (TBM) structure.
– Prepare headquarters allocations for distribution to markets.
– Coordinate with budget owners to ensure consistent allocation frameworks.
– Monitor the P&L impact of cost allocation and support fair distribution across markets.
– Review IT cost structures and contribute to continuous improvements in cost transparency.
– Coordinate budget and forecasting cycles, including BUD and FC activities, with Finance and IT stakeholders.
– Support Controlling with month-end closing and accrual activities.
– Prepare planning templates, coordinate timelines, and organize planning sessions.
– Act as the liaison between IT and Finance throughout planning activities.
– Analyse market financial performance and investigate variances.
– Prepare reports and presentations explaining financial results.
– Work with local IT and Finance leaders to assess performance.
– Identify financial impacts and trends to support future planning cycles.
## Required Skills
– 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Performance Management, Finance Business Partnering, or Business Analysis.
– Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
– Ability to create well-structured presentations and translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with incomplete data.
– Proficiency in financial modelling, reporting, and data visualisation.
– Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a matrix and international environment.
– Flexibility to operate in a dynamic setting with changing priorities and business requirements.
## Preferred Skills
– Experience in transformation programmes or international environments.
– Familiarity with IT environments or cost allocation methodologies.
