# Sr Finance Analyst FP&A

## About the Role
This role sits within Solenis’ Global Excellence Center in Hyderabad and supports supply chain finance activities across the business. The position focuses on cost analysis, forecasting support, reporting, and performance tracking for raw materials, inventory, manufacturing, transportation, and warehouse spend.
You will work closely with the Regional Ops FPA lead, the Team Lead, Supply Chain leadership, and on-shore and offshore teams. The goal is to provide clear cost visibility, explain variances, support planning and reporting cycles, and help the business monitor and control key supply chain costs.
## Key Responsibilities
– Analyze raw material, semi-finished goods, and finished goods costs in SAP.
– Review material standard costs and validate purchase prices provided by sourcing.
– Support quarterly CPU forecast validation.
– Monitor monthly fixed and variable plant costs and explain key variances.
– Support transportation and warehouse spend analysis and related reporting with the Regional Ops FPA lead.
– Identify, analyze, and communicate cost trends and issues affecting the business.
– Support monthly results, cost absorption, OU and recap, and productivity target vs. actual reporting.
– Manage inventory write-off and disposal controls.
– Perform material yield analysis and SMOG review, including follow-up actions.
– Respond to costing questions and ad hoc requests with detailed explanations.
– Prepare supply chain and sourcing cost reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
– Build KPI slides for Supply Chain leadership.
– Support supply chain projects with Business Analysis and offshore teams.
– Analyze manufacturing cost reports and review performance metrics and KPIs in Power BI, OneStream, and Tableau.
– Handle ad hoc requests from on-shore teams.
