# About the Role
Based in Hyderabad and reporting to the Senior Manager – Cloud & FinOps, this role supports cloud financial operations, cost optimization, billing governance, reporting, and customer advisory. The position exists to improve visibility into cloud spend, utilization, profitability, and optimization opportunities.
You will work closely with Customers, Finance, Billing, Sales, and Cloud Operations to turn cloud usage data into actionable financial and operational insight. The role combines technical analysis, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder management.
The posting describes the ideal candidate as a Cloud FinOps professional with 2–3 years of experience who can work directly with customers and Finance teams.
# Key Responsibilities
– Analyze AWS consumption, utilization, and billing trends.
– Identify cost optimization opportunities, savings recommendations, and rightsizing actions.
– Monitor cloud spend, support budget governance, and maintain accurate billing and consumption data.
– Partner with customers to review spend, utilization, and optimization opportunities.
– Work with Finance and Billing on invoice validation, billing governance, profitability analysis, and dispute resolution.
– Support monthly business reviews and customer reporting.
– Build and maintain customer-facing and internal dashboards and reports covering spend, utilization, optimization, margin, budget vs actual, and forecast vs actual.
– Automate reporting wherever possible.
– Analyze AWS workloads and resource usage across EC2, RDS, S3, EKS/ECS, and networking services.
– Build forecasting models, perform trend and variance analysis, and support planning and budgeting.
– Use Python, SQL, and PowerShell to automate reporting and analytics.
– Support anomaly detection and AI-enabled reporting initiatives.
– Generate insights from large datasets and communicate them clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
