Sales Director
for North America
to lead the way.
As our first commercial leader on the ground, you’ll be the driving force behind our US go-to-market strategy. You’ll build our sales engine from the ground up: owning the sales infrastructure, opening new Greenfield accounts, and forging strategic partnerships. As traction builds, you’ll recruit and lead a high-performing sales team, directly shaping Automat-it’s footprint and culture in the US market.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute successful targeted territory development plans to help achieve or exceed growth and revenue.
Leading and actively engaging in all stages of the business development cycle, including proposal negotiations, crafting statements of work, and finalizing contract details.
Prospect new customers, identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities, and communicate with the AWS reps regularly
Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning Automat-it capabilities to client business and positioning relative to competitors
Serve as the escalation point for all matters related to client concerns, deals, and needs
Build and maintain long-lasting and strengthened client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
Maintain and develop strategic vendor relations with AWS
Represent Automat-it at trade shows and conferences, educating potential clients on our unique value and benefits.
Work collaboratively with global Marketing, Operations, Delivery, and Solutions Architects teams.
Recruit, lead, and scale a high-performing local sales and business development team.
Manage and mentor a team of local Cloud Sales experts, driving them to meet KPIs while maintaining top-quality operations and performance.
Commitment to regular business travel locally and abroad, including frequent visits to the AWS offices in Manhattan
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in leading direct Cloud sales, business development, and accounts executives with a proven, successful track record of generating revenue and closing business
2+ years of experience in managing a sales team
2+ years of experience in selling IT professional services (consulting/managed/staff services) or SaaS solutions designed for R&D or DevOps teams
Experience in a B2B sales environment, including sales organizational structures, indirect channels, sales systems, and industry data used in developing go-to-market strategies
Network and relationships with local startup companies
In-depth experience with selling AWS services
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
AWS cloud certification
Excellent presentation and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working experience with Salesforce – advantage

Expected base compensation for the role is between $130,000 – $175,000
