We are currently looking for a
Program Manager
to join a leading international banking client, within a production environment, based in
Lisbon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional with strong experience in
program governance, IT production environments and cross-functional coordination
within regulated and complex organisations.
Your Mission:
As Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring proper governance and steering of a program composed of multiple interdependent projects, aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
You will:
Lead program governance and portfolio oversight
Coordinate cross-functional IT and business teams
Manage risks, dependencies and delivery milestones
Ensure alignment with strategic priorities and sponsor expectations
Oversee budget tracking and reporting
Challenge implementation approaches and support decision-making
Technical Background Required
Education: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Experience: 8+ years in
IT Production / Application Support
, with
3+ years in program or project management
roles
Certifications (preferred):
ITIL v4, PMP / PRINCE2, SRE Foundation, or FinOps Certified Practitioner
Strong understanding of
Application Support / IT Production
environments
Knowledge of
ITIL v4, SRE, DevOps, FinOps, and Incident/Problem/Change Management
processes
Experience with
monitoring, observability, and automation tools
(e.g., Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Ansible, Grafana, ELK)
Familiarity with
cloud and hybrid infrastructures
(AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, RHEL migrations)
Language Skills
English – Fluent (mandatory)
French – Nice to have
Soft Skills
Proven ability to manage transversal programs with multiple stakeholders and teams
Strong analytical and strategic thinking with data-driven decision making
Excellent communication and influencing skills, including executive reporting
Capable of managing global, multicultural, and cross-functional teams
