## About the Role

This FinOps Engineer opportunity is open at both junior and senior levels and supports cloud projects in strong growth. The role is based in Lisbon on a hybrid model, with one day per week in the office, including Oeiras. Only candidates residing in Portugal will be considered.

The position focuses on implementing and running the FinOps Foundation framework to improve cloud cost management, financial governance, and operational excellence. Work will take place in critical, scalable cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure.

## Key Responsibilities

– Implement and operate the FinOps Foundation framework.
– Manage cloud costs across the **Inform, Optimize, and Operate** phases.
– Support cost optimization, financial governance, and operational efficiency.
– Contribute to cloud cost management in critical and scalable environments.
– Produce reporting in Microsoft Power BI.
– Work with Azure infrastructure, including data.

## Required Skills

### Senior FinOps Engineer
– 6+ years of experience in FinOps and cloud.
– Strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
– Solid experience implementing the FinOps framework.
– Experience with Azure infrastructure, including data.
– Strong reporting capability in Microsoft Power BI.
– **Required certifications:** FinOps Certified Engineer; Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104).

### Junior FinOps Engineer
– Around 1 year of experience in FinOps and cloud computing.
– Knowledge of the FinOps Foundation framework.
– Experience with Microsoft Azure.

## Preferred Skills

– Interest in developing skills in Microsoft Power BI and OCI.
