We’re working with a global leader in workforce solutions and agile enterprise transformation on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a cloud-cost champion to bridge the gap between high-performance engineering and financial accountability.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in architecting cost-effective Azure solutions without sacrificing speed or innovation. You’ll leverage cutting-edge automation through Terraform and Harness to ensure this enterprise-scale environment remains lean, sustainable, and highly observable.
The Role
Lead the design and implementation of automation workflows to boost cost optimization and resource efficiency across the Azure ecosystem.
Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Git, Terraform, and Harness.
Partner directly with Finance, Product, and Engineering leads to translate technical architectural decisions into clear cost impacts and trade-offs.
Develop self-service reporting and granular visibility tools using Azure Billing and Cost Management data to empower decentralized teams.
Drive sustainable cloud engineering practices, including right-sizing, autoscaling strategies, and the termination of idle resources.
What You’ll Need
Expert-level understanding of FinOps principles (Inform, Optimize, Operate) and their application within a large-scale Microsoft Azure environment.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) specifically using Terraform and version control with Git.
Proven experience with modern CI/CD orchestration tools like Harness and cloud-native monitoring solutions.
Strong background in Agile delivery environments, utilizing Jira and Confluence for workflow management and documentation.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and embed a “cost-aware” culture into the DevOps lifecycle.
