# IT Finance Analyst

## About the Role

Monks is seeking an IT Finance Analyst to support operational budgets, spend allocation, and financial administration for its Technology department in London. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will coordinate between IT and central Corporate Finance.

The role focuses on managing accounting data across more than 30 entities, including monthly IT spend allocation, corporate card reconciliations, purchase orders, supplier invoice checks, and rolling forecasts. You will work with the Netherlands-based IT Buyer, accounting teams, technology vendors, and internal budget owners.

## Key Responsibilities

– Allocate shared IT costs and technology service expenses across 30+ corporate entities.
– Coordinate purchasing and monthly cost allocation with the IT Buyer in the Netherlands.
– Reconcile IT corporate card transactions, collect receipts, and map expenses to the correct entities and cost codes.
– Draft, raise, and route IT purchase orders through internal approval processes.
– Check technology supplier invoices and statements against delivered services and resolve discrepancies.
– Maintain the IT baseline budget and update rolling expenditure forecasts.
– Prepare variance reports for the Head of IT.
– Use NetSuite to review transactions, track purchase orders, audit intercompany ledgers, and extract reports.

## Required Skills

– Experience in financial administration, bookkeeping, or project tracking involving complex datasets or multi-entity cost allocation.
– Ability to monitor expenditure against budgets, maintain rolling forecasts, and report financial variances.
– Experience managing corporate card processes, purchase orders, and supplier invoice verification.
– Confidence collaborating with international stakeholders on purchasing and cost allocation.
– Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and VLOOKUPs.
– Clear communication skills when working with the Head of IT, central accounting teams, and external suppliers.

## Preferred Skills

– Practical experience using NetSuite to search ledgers, review purchase order approvals, or extract data.
– Experience with business intelligence or analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
– Experience creating reporting dashboards and analyzing multi-entity cost data.

– Maintain rolling forecasts and produce variance reporting.
– Support purchase order, supplier invoice, and intercompany ledger controls.
