# Financial Controller
Full-time | Bratislava, Slovakia (occasional work from home) | Gross salary from €2,200/month* | Start: ASAP or by agreement

## About the Role
This position covers financial controlling for two ENGIE group entities operating in the heating sector in Slovakia. It is focused on owning key financial processes, forecasting, and reporting.
The role supports leadership with accurate financial information, variance analysis, and ad hoc insights that help guide business decisions. It also plays an important part in maintaining reporting quality, monitoring liquidity, and supporting investment control.
## Key Responsibilities
– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under IFRS, as well as management reporting under SK GAAP and heating-sector regulation.
– Contribute to forecasting and the financial plan.
– Monitor target achievement and cost usage, analyze variances, identify improvement opportunities, and present results.
– Control projects and investments.
– Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for company management.
– Maintain the reporting system and verify accounting accuracy.
– Monitor liquidity and prepare cash flow reporting.
## Required Skills
– Second- or third-level university education.
– Degree in finance or economics.
– At least 3 years of professional experience.
– Experience in controlling.
– Knowledge of international and Slovak accounting standards.
– English at B2 level.
– Expert-level Microsoft Excel.
– Advanced Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
– Analytical and logical thinking.
– Independence, reliability, teamwork, communication, initiative, flexibility, and a strong results orientation.
