## About the Role

The IT Financial Manager:in with a focus on Business Partnering supports the Service Financial Management department in IT planning, service costing, chargeback preparation for IT services, IT project controlling, and IT reporting. The role provides financial and commercial support to IT teams within the BCC.

In this position, you act as a sparring partner for managers and service managers on operational, strategic, and business-related topics. You translate financial and performance data into clear management information and recommendations that support decision-making.

The role works closely with leadership and operational stakeholders, helping to shape budgets, forecasts, plans, and ongoing reporting. It also contributes to identifying optimization and savings opportunities and supporting their implementation.

## Key Responsibilities

– Serve as a sparring partner for managers and service managers on business, strategic, and operational matters
– Analyze cost, performance, and control data and derive recommendations
– Prepare ad hoc analyses, decision papers, and management materials for senior leadership
– Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
– Contribute to ongoing performance and financial reporting
– Identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities and support implementation
– Translate complex topics into clear management information and presentations

## Required Skills

– Solid experience in controlling, business partnering, financial management, or a similar function
– Strong understanding of business metrics and the ability to interpret and present them for different audiences
– Confident stakeholder management skills in a sparring-partner role with leadership
– Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
– Structured and independent working style
– Ability to stay organized under short-notice management requests
– Very good Excel skills
– Experience preparing management and decision-making documents
