# FP&A and Strategic Finance Manager
## About the Role
Outschool is seeking a dedicated FP&A and Strategic Finance Manager to join our growing Finance team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our financial processes, enabling Outschool to scale effectively. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with various departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
The primary objective of this position is to develop and maintain a comprehensive financial model that drives performance and supports long-term growth. You will work closely with team leaders to ensure financial strategies align with business goals, providing data-driven insights that guide our stakeholders.
## Key Responsibilities
– Oversee company-wide budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with organizational stakeholders.
– Maintain a forward-looking financial model to accurately predict performance and inform growth strategies.
– Monitor financial and operational performance metrics to facilitate Outschool’s expansion.
– Generate detailed reports and insights for internal teams, the board, and investors on a regular basis.
– Collaborate on growth initiatives by supporting marketing leads in customer acquisition and monitoring customer acquisition costs (CAC).
## Required Skills
– 5+ years of experience in FP&A, including budgeting and stakeholder management.
– Proven history of constructing financial and operational models in a growth-stage environment.
– Experience in developing and applying financial strategies for public and private companies.
– Strong communication skills to present complex financial concepts clearly to business leaders.
– Ability to think differently and pursue innovative solutions for financial management.
– Proficiency in data analysis to inform judgment and decision-making in finance.
## Preferred Skills
– Background in investment banking.
– Knowledge of large-scale online marketplaces.
– Experience in both B2C and B2B business environments.

## FinOps Responsibilities
– Revenue Forecasting and analysis of Lifetime Value (LTV) and Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC) in partnership with marketing.
