## About the Role

Zocdoc is hiring a Finance Technology leader to shape the systems and processes that support financial planning and decision-making across Strategic Finance and FP&A. The role is centered on planning and forecasting, with responsibility for improving enterprise planning capabilities, workforce planning, reporting, and decision support.

You will own the strategy, roadmap, governance, and ongoing evolution of Finance Technology, while helping define practical ways to apply automation and AI across Finance. This position works closely with Strategic Finance, FP&A, Finance Systems, Accounting, Data & Analytics Engineering, HR Systems, and IT to turn business needs into scalable technology solutions.

The role is designed for someone who can operate across Finance, Technology, Data, People, and Operations, while also working with senior leadership to prioritize investments and improve planning outcomes. The goal is to build a more scalable Finance Technology function that can support the business as it grows.

## Key Responsibilities

– Own the strategy, roadmap, governance, and continued development of Finance Technology across Strategic Finance and FP&A.
– Lead planning and forecasting technology initiatives, including enterprise planning systems, reporting capabilities, automation, and AI enablement.
– Build a scalable approach to workforce planning across Finance, Recruiting, People Systems, senior leadership, and hiring managers.
– Partner with Finance leadership and senior stakeholders in Product, Technology, and HR to identify needs and prioritize technology investments.
– Evaluate finance technology opportunities, including automation, AI tools, enterprise planning capabilities, and build-versus-buy decisions.
– Translate Finance business requirements into technology roadmaps and scalable solutions with internal teams and external vendors.
– Lead implementation, integration, configuration, adoption, and optimization of planning and forecasting capabilities.
– Identify opportunities to automate recurring planning, forecasting, reporting, data-ingestion, variance-analysis, and commentary workflows.
– Assess practical AI use cases within Finance systems and processes, including considerations for data quality, security, compliance, controls, and adoption.
– Establish governance and best practices for planning systems, financial models, forecasting processes, data ownership, testing, and change management.
– Lead cross-functional technology initiatives from business case through implementation and measure business outcomes.
– Support strategic initiatives and other high-priority projects that help Finance scale with the business.

## Required Skills

– 10+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Systems, Corporate Finance, Finance Transformation, or another analytical role supporting financial planning technology.
– Experience owning Finance technology strategy, including enterprise planning systems, forecasting processes, and related roadmaps.
– Experience leading one or more enterprise planning system implementations or major enhancements.
– Experience with systems such as Planful, Adaptive, Pigment, Anaplan, or similar.
– Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
– Experience translating Finance business requirements into technology strategy and scalable solutions.
– Experience partnering with Finance Systems, Data & Analytics Engineering, HR Systems, IT, and external vendors.
– Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
– Experience evaluating finance technology investments, automation opportunities, and emerging AI capabilities.
– Strong project management, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
– Ability to prioritize competing initiatives and drive measurable business outcomes.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
– Relevant experience in technology, SaaS, healthcare, or marketplace businesses.
