## About the Role
The AI Platform organization is creating a new function focused on AI Financial Operations (FinOps) and business intelligence as enterprise AI capabilities continue to expand. This role sits at the intersection of Technology, Finance, and Product, with responsibility for helping the business understand AI adoption, spend, utilization, and value across the enterprise.
The position is centered on building reporting and dashboards that improve transparency into AI investments and support decisions around budgeting, optimization, governance, and return on investment. It works closely with AI platform owners and cross-functional stakeholders to turn technical and financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
## Key Responsibilities
– Develop executive dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into AI platform adoption, utilization, spending, and business value.
– Consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources to create a unified view of AI investments across the enterprise.
– Partner with AI Platform Engineering, Finance, Product, and Technology teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost transparency.
– Analyze AI consumption trends, including token usage, API consumption, licensing, cloud costs, and overall platform utilization.
– Define and evolve AI governance metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards as the organization’s AI capabilities mature.
– Identify opportunities to optimize AI spend and improve operational efficiency across AI platforms.
– Translate complex financial and technical information into executive-level reporting and business insights.
– Support AI chargeback/showback models and unit economics across business units.
– Present findings and recommendations to senior technology and business leadership.
– Continuously evaluate new reporting requirements as additional AI platforms and vendors are introduced.
## Required Skills
– 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, Technology Reporting, FinOps, or a related discipline.
– Strong experience designing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
– Advanced SQL skills and experience working across multiple enterprise data sources.
– Experience with Excel and financial reporting.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
– Experience working cross-functionally with Technology, Finance, Product, and business stakeholders.
## Preferred Skills
– Experience supporting AI, Cloud, FinOps, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
– Understanding of token-based consumption models, API usage, cloud cost reporting, and AI financial governance.
– Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL databases, Power BI, and enterprise reporting pipelines.
– Experience supporting cloud financial management, chargeback/showback models, or technology cost optimization.
– Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment.
