# FinOps Architect / Global FinOps Architect

## About the Role

This fully remote role focuses on designing and optimizing cloud-native architectures to improve both technical efficiency and cloud economics.

You will work closely with Tech Leads, Architecture teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to define cost drivers, establish FinOps governance practices, develop optimization plans, and support effective use of public cloud services. The role also includes collaboration with cloud providers and planning migrations from on-premises environments.

## Key Responsibilities

– Ensure efficient architecture designs and operational processes with Tech Leads and Architecture teams.
– Define KPIs and cost drivers, integrating them into FinOps tools.
– Develop capacity-planning strategies based on functional metrics.
– Conduct proofs of concept focused on technical optimization, including modernization, resource removal, and instance tuning.
– Create templates, artifacts, and documentation to standardize improvements.
– Design cloud optimization and migration plans for on-premises environments.
– Define best practices and contribute to the FinOps governance model.
– Promote efficient public cloud usage through technical discipline and continuous improvement.
– Influence and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
– Maintain communication with cloud providers.

## FinOps Responsibilities

– Contribute to FinOps governance and best-practice development.
