## About the Role
Plexus Tech is hiring a Senior FinOps Consultant to join its local FinOps team supporting a major client in the banking sector. The role focuses on the management, optimisation, and financial governance of AWS cloud environments.
The consultant will work with technology, finance, and business teams to improve cloud cost transparency and governance. The position is responsible for tracking cloud spend, producing reporting and dashboards, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and strengthen financial control.
## Key Responsibilities
– Apply FinOps practices and methodologies to improve cloud cost efficiency.
– Monitor AWS consumption and spending data to identify savings and optimisation opportunities.
– Track cloud forecasts, budgets, and chargeback/showback processes.
– Produce financial and operational reporting for forecasts, budgets, chargeback/showback, and FinOps KPIs.
– Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards using AWS QuickSight and other visualisation tools.
– Work with technology, finance, and business stakeholders to improve cloud financial governance and cost transparency.
## Required Skills
– B2+ level of English.
– Knowledge of advanced AWS automation.
– Experience with AWS cost management and data analysis tools, including AWS Cost Explorer and AWS Budgets.
– Experience with data visualisation tools, including AWS QuickSight and third-party tools.
– Ability to produce forecast follow-up reports, budget reports, chargeback/showback reports, and QuickSight dashboards.
– Ability to analyse cloud expenditure and usage data to identify savings opportunities and produce monitoring and forecast reports.
## Preferred Skills
– C1 level of English.
