You will work with engineering, finance, product, cloud, automation, and service-owner teams to improve reporting, governance, forecasting, optimization, and operational automation.
## Key Responsibilities
– Own stakeholder-facing FinOps capabilities, including dashboards, reporting, documentation, enablement, automation, and intake workflows.
– Manage the FinOps services portal as the primary self-service resource for cloud and AI services, optimization guidance, license support, and budget assistance.
– Develop the FinOps-as-a-service operating model, roadmap, backlog, and continuous improvement processes.
– Lead a FinOps Champion Network across engineering, finance, and product teams through shared objectives, playbooks, and office hours.
– Promote governance practices, including showback and chargeback adoption, KPI standardization, infrastructure tagging, and AI tool user attribution.
– Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Apptio Cloudability, Apptio BI, and Turbonomic.
– Establish metric definitions, data-quality controls, reporting standards, allocation logic, and tagging or labeling requirements.
– Track usage, user seats, and token consumption for AI applications such as Cursor, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Claude.
– Identify unused licenses, inefficient token usage, spend anomalies, monthly variances, and major cost drivers.
– Present actionable findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Create repeatable optimization processes covering detection, recommendations, approvals, execution, and post-change validation.
– Support cloud and AI spend forecasting, budget tracking, and variance reporting.
– Improve effective cloud rates and AI vendor agreements through commitments, negotiated pricing, and discount mechanisms.
– Partner with cloud and automation engineering teams to implement guardrails and prevent spend regressions.
## Required Skills

– At least five years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or FinOps Analyst.
– Experience with requirements elicitation, process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, and delivery of stakeholder-facing capabilities.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including metric definition, data validation, structured analysis of ambiguous problems, and data-based communication.
– Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in Apptio Cloudability, Apptio BI, Turbonomic, or comparable platform-native tools.
– Knowledge of cloud billing and pricing models across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
– Understanding of SaaS and AI licensing models, including user seats, token-based consumption, and API pricing tiers.
– Experience partnering with technical teams on infrastructure or SaaS lifecycle automation, including requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience producing technical documentation and executive-level analysis.
– Customer-focused approach to service delivery, expectation-setting, and self-service improvement.
