You will develop self-service tools, reporting, automation, and governance practices across AWS, Azure, GCP, SaaS AI platforms, developer tools, and foundation-model APIs. The role partners with engineering, finance, product, cloud, and automation teams to improve cost visibility, accountability, forecasting, and optimization.
## Key Responsibilities
– Own stakeholder-facing FinOps capabilities, including dashboards, reporting, documentation, enablement, automation, and intake workflows.
– Manage the FinOps services portal as the primary self-service resource for cloud and AI services.

– Lead a FinOps Champion Network across engineering, finance, and product teams.
– Promote showback and chargeback adoption, KPI standardization, infrastructure tagging, and AI tool user attribution.
– Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Apptio Cloudability, Apptio BI, and Turbonomic.
– Track AI application usage, user seats, licenses, and token consumption to identify inefficiencies.
– Analyze anomalies, monthly variances, and key cost drivers, translating findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
– Establish allocation logic, reporting standards, and tagging requirements for accurate cost attribution.
– Productize optimization opportunities through detection, recommendations, approved execution workflows, and post-change validation.
– Support forecasting, budget tracking, and variance analysis for cloud and AI tooling.
– Improve cloud rates and AI vendor agreements through commitments, negotiated pricing, and discount mechanisms.
– Partner with cloud and automation engineering teams to implement guardrails and prevent recurring overspend.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
– At least five years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or FinOps Analyst.
– Experience with requirements elicitation, process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, and delivering stakeholder-facing capabilities.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including metric definition, data validation, and communicating evidence-based conclusions.
– Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in Apptio Cloudability, Apptio BI, Turbonomic, or comparable platform-native tools.
– Working knowledge of multi-cloud billing and pricing models across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
– Understanding of SaaS and AI licensing models, including user seats, token-based usage, and API pricing tiers.
– Experience partnering with technical teams on infrastructure or SaaS lifecycle automation.
– Ability to define automation requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation and executive-level reporting.
– Customer-focused approach to service delivery, expectation setting, and self-service improvement.
