# AMESA S&T Finance Manager
## About the Role
The AMESA S&T Finance Manager is responsible for managing a broad range of S&T costs, including FTE, global allocations, IT investments, IT CapEx, software and licences, discretionary spend, and other expenses such as consultants, OBS, contractors, leasing, and rentals. The role also supports month-end close, forecasting, reporting, and pre-MEC activities, with a focus on timely and accurate financial output.
This position works closely with the EMEA/AMESA S&T team and the ICC function lead, as well as budget owners, function heads, and the ICC C&B team. A key part of the role is to challenge overspend, recommend savings, and provide financial insight to senior stakeholders. It also supports standardization, optimization, and improved ways of working across the team.
## Key Responsibilities
– Manage and track S&T spend across FTE, global allocations, IT investments, IT CapEx, software and licences, and other operating costs.
– Deliver month-end close, forecasting, reporting, and pre-MEC activities within required timelines.
– Extract data from SAP and produce spend reports by function.
– Reconcile reported figures to source systems and ensure data accuracy.
– Partner with budget owners and function leads to review spend, challenge overspend, and identify savings opportunities.
– Support standardization and optimization efforts in partnership with the Opex Manager.
– Improve team processes by identifying opportunities to work more effectively.
– Partner with AMESA BU FP&A teams to support accurate P&L reporting and process adherence.
– Build strong working relationships with budget owners, function heads, and the ICC C&B team.
– Develop an understanding of global functions’ financial objectives to strengthen business partnering.
– Follow ICC ways of working, culture, and values.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
– Minimum 6 years of relevant finance experience.
– Strong FP&A experience, including forecasting and planning cycles.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and Microsoft PowerPoint.
– Ability to learn internal software applications quickly.
– Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
– Experience working in multicultural environments.
– Strong team orientation.
## Preferred Skills
– Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
– Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
