# Technology Strategy & Advisory Manager (Data & AI or FinOps) — Accenture
## About the Role
This role sits within Accenture’s Technology Strategy & Advisory team and focuses on helping clients address senior leadership priorities in Data & AI and/or FinOps. The position exists to support business transformation, identify growth opportunities, and shape solutions that use technology and data to create measurable value.
You will work as a trusted advisor to C-level leaders, digital marketers, and IT managers. In collaboration with around 80 direct colleagues, you will help define technology vision, value cases, operating models, and transformation roadmaps across short-, medium-, and longer-term engagements.
The role combines client delivery with contribution to the broader practice. You will also help develop the team through events, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing.
## Key Responsibilities
– Advise clients on Data & AI and/or FinOps challenges linked to business transformation.
– Lead strategic initiatives and help shape technology-driven growth opportunities.
– Work with senior stakeholders to assess challenges, communicate recommendations, and support decision-making.
– Develop value cases, operating models, and roadmaps for digital and technology transformation.
– Support multi-year cloud journeys with an industry-focused perspective.
– For Data & AI engagements, develop data strategies, modern data platform designs, AI innovation approaches, and operating models.
– For FinOps engagements, define cost optimization strategies, governance models, and FinOps operating structures.
– Contribute to practice growth through events, viewpoints, and knowledge sharing.
## Required Skills
– Completed Master’s degree.
– Several years of external consulting experience.
– 6–8 years of experience in technology strategy and/or large-scale digital and technology transformations.
– Strong expertise in Data & AI and/or FinOps.
– Knowledge of current technology developments in a relevant technology area and/or industry.
– Strong consulting capabilities, including financial and business acumen, analytical thinking, problem solving, project management, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management.
– Strong presentation and communication skills.
– Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
– Proven affinity with digital, IT, and technology.
## Preferred Skills
– Certifications in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), SAFe, TOGAF, DAMA, ML, Data Science, FinOps, or TBM.
– Experience with Apptio Cloudability, Power BI, Databricks, or Collibra.

## FinOps Responsibilities
– Help clients maximize the value of cloud investments through FinOps practices.
– Define cost optimization strategies, governance models, and operating structures.
– Support multi-year cloud journeys with a focus on efficiency, agility, and innovation.
– Define the FinOps operating model.
– Embed a value-driven culture across IT and Finance.
– Work with tools such as Apptio Cloudability, Azure Cost Management, and AWS Cost Explorer.
