About You:
3–7 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, FinOps, or Cloud Operations.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Azure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Strong understanding of cloud billing models, pricing, and consumption-based services.
Experience with cost analysis dashboards and BI tools.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret financial data.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
FinOps Certified Practitioner or FinOps Certified Professional.
Experience in multi-cloud operational environments.
Familiarity with Kubernetes cost allocation (Kubecost, OpenCost).
Understanding of IT procurement and vendor negotiations.
Knowledge of cloud governance frameworks.

What You ‘ll Do
Cloud Financial Management & Optimization
Implement and maintain FinOps best practices across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
Analyze cloud usage patterns and identify opportunities for cost optimization, including rightsizing, scheduling, storage optimization, and architectural improvements.
Recommend or develop automated cost saving scripts and policies using tools such as Lambda, Azure Functions, or Cloud Functions.
Manage cost control mechanisms such as:
ü Reserved Instances / Savings Plans
ü Spot usage strategies
ü Budgets & alerts
ü Cost allocation tags
ü Reporting & Visibility
ü Create dashboards for cost visibility using
ü AWS Cost Explorer / CUR
ü Azure Cost Management
ü GCP Billing
ü Power BI / Tableau
Deliver monthly/quarterly cloud cost insights and recommendations to engineering team and SDMs.
Implement showback/chargeback models across business units.
Collaboration & Governance:
ü Partner with engineering teams to ensure cloud designs follow cost efficient architecture principles.
ü Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams on cloud forecasting, budget planning, and vendor negotiations.
ü Drive awareness and accountability through FinOps culture enablement, training, and consulting.
Automation & Tooling
ü Recommend or Build automation for cost reporting, anomaly detection, and resource cleanup.
ü Support in integrating cloud cost data with internal systems for analytics and forecasting.
ü Evaluate and implement FinOps tools.
