## About the Role
This position sits within Central FP&A in TOF and supports business partnering, financial planning and analysis, monthly cost reporting, cost allocation, and recharges. It is part of a Cost Simplification Programme focused on improving how costs are booked, allocated, reported, and governed across countries, business units, and segments.
The role works across finance stakeholders, process and technology teams, workstream leads, GPOs, and senior leaders across the bank. Its main purpose is to help build a more centralised operating model, improve cost transparency, and support better decision-making through standardised processes, automation, and higher-quality data.
## Key Responsibilities
– Simplify, standardise, and automate cost booking, allocation, and reporting processes across countries, business units, and segments.
– Support a harmonised, centralised one-firm operating model with front-to-back cost visibility for CIB and WRB.
– Resolve inconsistencies between cost booking and the chart of accounts.
– Rationalise and consolidate applications to reduce licensing, hardware, and maintenance support costs.
– Build a centralised cost driver database with clear data lineage, using financial and non-financial data to support automated allocation keys and driver-based insights linked to the P&L.
– Help move cost teams away from data collation and reconciliation toward analytics and insight generation.
– Contribute to business finance reporting, forecasting and planning, cost allocations, and cost analytics through digital delivery and improved visualisation for senior management.
– Manage project deliverables across the full lifecycle, including planning, prioritisation, risk and issue resolution, testing, documentation, transition planning, governance, and stakeholder coordination.
– Design target-state solutions, target-state processes, and the target operating model.
– Work closely with change and BAU leaders to identify and remove blockers, while maintaining strong engagement with senior finance stakeholders.
## Required Skills
– 7+ years of experience in banking and financial services.
– Experience across more than one core finance function, including ledger, consolidation, financial and management reporting, cost allocations and transfer pricing, planning and performance management, master data governance, supply chain management, and tax reporting.
– Financial analysis and planning experience.
– Strong change management experience with a core finance background.
– Experience implementing or working with SAP products.
– Experience with finance technology solutions and large-scale change initiatives within Finance.
– Core project management skills, including planning, risk management, and issue management.
– Strong business analysis skills and techniques.
– Ability to design processes at both conceptual and operational levels.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Experience in senior stakeholder management and communication.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to engage senior leaders within and outside Finance.
– Ability to work effectively in a complex environment with internal and external stakeholders.

– Define clearer accountability for cost ownership and cost behaviour to support RoTE accretion.
– Redefine cost lines and ownership based on cost type and influenceability.
– Simplify and automate cost booking, allocation, and reporting processes.
– Improve cost visibility across business segments through a centralised model.
– Rationalise applications to reduce technology and support costs, including licensing, hardware, and maintenance.
– Build a centralised cost driver database with strong data lineage.
– Use automated allocation keys and driver-based insights linked directly to the P&L.
