# Job Description: Senior FP&A Analyst
## About the Role
As a Senior FP&A Analyst at Owner, you will be essential in shaping our core planning, forecasting, and performance tracking functions. This position emphasizes innovation over maintenance, encouraging you to treat our financial infrastructure like a product that needs constant refinement and automation. You will own the financial models and reporting systems that guide our strategic decisions, utilizing AI and modern tools to enhance efficiency.
Your collaboration will extend across multiple departments, ensuring that insights lead not just to analysis but to actionable improvements in our business’s economics. This role is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
## Key Responsibilities
– Develop and manage financial models and forecasting systems to support our scaling efforts.
– Conduct analyses based on unit economics and cohort trends to drive investment and growth decisions.
– Automate manual reporting processes using AI and modern tools to create self-service dashboards.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning and resource allocation.
– Enhance forecast accuracy and improve business efficiency through data visibility.
– Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations for operational improvements.
## Required Skills
– 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields; experience in high-growth startups is advantageous.
– Proficient modeling skills that enhance forecast accuracy and enable dynamic scenario planning.
– Competency in Excel/Google Sheets, QuickBooks (or equivalent ERP), and AI tools like Claude Code; familiarity with SQL or Sigma is a plus.
– Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams to translate financial plans into actionable outcomes.
– Capacity to thrive independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Excellent communication skills to convey financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
## Compensation and Benefits
– Base salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 USD / $168,000 – $196,000 CAD.
