## About the Role

This is a full-time AWS FinOps Cloud Engineer position focused on cloud optimization and governance across enterprise AWS environments. The role is intended for professionals with 6–8 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, financial operations, and cost optimization.

You will work closely with engineering, platform, and business teams to improve cloud financial accountability and operational efficiency. The position is office-based, with locations in Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad, and requires a 5-day in-office work model.

## Key Responsibilities

– Lead cloud cost optimization efforts across enterprise AWS environments.
– Manage EC2 rightsizing, scheduling, and infrastructure efficiency initiatives.
– Develop and execute Savings Plans and Reserved Instance optimization strategies.
– Optimize containerized workloads running on EKS and ECS.
– Build governance frameworks for tagging, budgeting, allocation, and compliance.
– Create automation solutions using infrastructure as code and scripting.
– Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen cloud financial accountability and operational excellence.
