## About the Role

This role is for an experienced FinOps Presales Consultant with 7+ years of experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, cloud cost optimization, and presales consulting. The position is remote and follows working hours of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The role is responsible for leading FinOps engagements from assessment and implementation through ongoing financial management. It also supports presales activities from discovery through proposal and closure, working closely with sales and technical teams.

A key part of the position is helping customers define practical FinOps strategies, operating models, and governance frameworks. The role requires strong customer interaction, workshop facilitation, solution design, and the ability to communicate FinOps concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.

## Key Responsibilities

– Lead FinOps engagements, including assessment, implementation, and ongoing cloud financial management.
– Advise customers on cloud cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance.
– Apply FinOps practices across AWS, Azure, GCP, and multi-cloud environments.
– Analyze cloud spend and identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
– Help define FinOps strategies, operating models, and governance frameworks.
– Lead presales activities, including requirement gathering, solution design, presentations, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.
– Collaborate with sales and technical teams to build tailored FinOps solutions.
– Conduct customer workshops and presentations for both business and technical audiences.
– Support effort estimation, solution proposals, and commercial discussions for FinOps opportunities.

## Required Skills

– 7+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, Cloud Consulting, or a related field.
– Strong experience in FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
– Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or multi-cloud environments.
– Strong presales and consulting experience.
– Good understanding of cloud budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, chargeback/showback, and financial governance.
– Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and client-facing skills.

## Preferred Skills

– Experience with FinOps tools such as Cloudability, Flexera, CloudHealth, or native cloud cost management tools.
– FinOps certification.
