Role Overview:
As a FinOps Adoption Specialist, you will work directly with our strategic customers to drive real adoption and maturity of FinOps practices. You will be embedded in their workflows leading governance setup, building cost visibility, aligning engineering and finance, and helping teams realize the true ROI of cloud and Amnic.
This is a hybrid consulting + execution + enablement role ideal for someone with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, financial operations, or cost optimization and a deep interest in working across functions.
What You’ll Do:
Customer Delivery & Execution
Run FinOps maturity assessments and cloud spend baselines
Lead cost allocation setup: tagging, org mapping, showback models
Configure Amnic to reflect customer structure (teams, BUs, products)
Identify and help drive cost savings opportunities
Run monthly cost reviews, anomaly detection, and reporting
Build stakeholder alignment between engineering, finance, and product
Enablement & Evangelism
Run enablement workshops for engineering and FP&A teams
Coach teams on best practices for usage hygiene, budgeting, ownership
Support C-level QBRs with insights, storytelling, and recommendations
Measurement & Reporting
Track customer maturity and adoption metrics
Create executive dashboards and cost scorecards
Maintain internal documentation and learning loops for future rollouts
Who You Are:
2–3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud finance, or FinOps roles
Strong working knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure cost structures, billing, and native tools (Cost Explorer, CUD/SP management, etc.)
Comfortable interacting with both engineering and finance stakeholders
Experience with cost optimization projects, tagging strategies, budget governance, or similar
Hands-on with tools like Amnic, CloudHealth, Cloudability, Harness, or native cloud billing tools is a plus
Clear communicator i.e. able to break down complex topics and drive cross-functional action
Prior experience in consulting, customer success, or a customer-facing delivery role is a plus
