Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Databricks & AWS Platform Administrator
to manage and optimize cloud-based data and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Databricks, AWS services, and infrastructure automation, along with a solid understanding of cloud cost optimization and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage Databricks environments, including cluster configuration, workspace management, and integrations
Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS data and analytics services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Glue, and Lambda
Implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues across Databricks and AWS environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver enhancements and solutions
Ensure platform security, governance, and compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA
Drive FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
Support analytics and data teams in delivering business outcomes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in cloud-based data platform administration
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (cluster management, workspace setup, integrations)
Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda
Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation for infrastructure automation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of data privacy, audit, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in FinOps / cloud cost optimization
Exposure to enterprise-scale data platforms
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
