# Opex & Capex Financial Analyst

## About the Role
We are looking for an Opex & Capex Financial Analyst to join our Vodafone Business International (VBI) function. This role is essential for managing operational and capital expenditure budgets. The Analyst will be responsible for high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting, working closely with regional finance teams and various stakeholders. The role requires an analytical and detail-oriented individual who is adept at handling complex datasets in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will partner with FinOps teams to ensure timely financial reporting and variance analysis, providing insights for informed decision-making. This position will also involve delivering baseline forecasting and supporting annual budgeting processes while managing multiple priorities and engaging with stakeholders at different levels.

## Key Responsibilities
– Manage and report monthly opex and capex within established timelines, ensuring accuracy and financial compliance.
– Partner with FinOps teams for month-end reporting.
– Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions.
– Act as a financial translator for business leaders, presenting clear financial narratives.
– Deliver baseline forecasting in collaboration with regional teams, including HR and Sales.
– Support the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and performance tracking.
– Handle large data sets from various systems while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.
– Proactively manage multiple priorities and maintain stakeholder engagement.

## Required Skills
– Experience in a multi-functional, complex matrix environment.
– Strong capability in engaging senior and non-financial stakeholders, simplifying complex financial concepts.
– Proficiency in driving change and implementing process improvements in financial projects.
– Strong analytical skills, financial modeling experience, and exceptional attention to detail.
– CA/CWA qualified (or equivalent) with 5–10 years of experience in Finance or Commercial analysis.
– Proficient in Advanced Excel, SAP, Power BI, and financial planning systems.
– Clear and articulate communicator, both in writing and verbally.
