We are looking for a Senior FinOps Expert to drive cloud cost optimization, financial governance, and cost transparency across multi-cloud environments. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Finance teams to ensure efficient cloud spending while supporting business growth and operational scalability. You will be responsible for developing cost optimization strategies, improving forecasting accuracy, and enabling data-driven decision-making through financial insights and governance frameworks.

Your tasks
Managing and optimizing cloud costs across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments to improve financial efficiency
Identifying cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, commitment-based pricing, and usage optimization initiatives
Implementing financial controls, budgets, cost policies, and anomaly detection mechanisms
Developing forecasting models and supporting budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning activities
Creating and maintaining dashboards, automated reports, and KPI tracking using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Finance teams to promote cost-aware decision-making and governance standards
Driving FinOps adoption, cost allocation frameworks, and showback/chargeback models across the organization
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or a similar role
Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms, including pricing models and core services
Experience in managing cloud cost optimization initiatives and financial governance processes
Solid understanding of cloud cost drivers such as compute, storage, data transfer, Kubernetes, and serverless services
Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
Previous work in building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Familiarity with FinOps frameworks, governance models, and cost allocation strategies
Fluent English – minimum B2 level
Nice to have
Experience with Python, PowerShell, APIs, or automation of cost reporting processes
Exposure to FinOps tools and cloud financial management platforms
Knowledge of showback and chargeback methodologies in enterprise environments
