# FinOps Analyst
## About the Role
Tecsys is seeking a detail-oriented FinOps Analyst to support the financial and operational management of its Product and Technology department.
The role focuses on analyzing performance, improving financial processes, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and developing IT cost-management strategies. You will work with cross-functional teams and senior management to improve financial visibility, operational efficiency, and investment decision-making.

## Key Responsibilities
– Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
– Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and planning processes.
– Evaluate financial and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
– Establish and improve IT cost-management strategies, models, processes, and tools.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
– Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
– Conduct financial analysis supporting business development and investment decisions.
– Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
– Strong interest in accounting and finance, or in computer science, cloud technologies, and cloud providers, depending on educational background.
– At least one year of relevant experience as an IT or finance professional managing IT.
– Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public cloud concepts.
– Understanding of cloud billing practices and procedures.
– Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, consultative, and facilitation skills.
– Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for working with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues.
## Preferred Skills
– AWS, Azure, or GCP certification.
– FinOps Practitioner, Cloud Financial Management, Total Business Management, or equivalent certification.
– Experience working with cloud environments.
– Experience with Power BI.
