## About the Role
RORA is hiring a FinOps Analyst to support multiple UK startups and scaleups from a remote base in India. The role is embedded across partner businesses and combines core finance operations with ongoing process improvement.
You will handle day-to-day finance activity for each partner, keep work accurate and compliant, and help improve how the team delivers through better controls, automation, and technology. The role works closely with RORA’s FinOps teams in the UK and India, as well as with partner teams.
## Key Responsibilities
– Run finance operations across multiple partner businesses.
– Manage changing priorities across startups and projects while maintaining accuracy.
– Collaborate with internal teams and partner businesses to solve issues and improve delivery.
– Support the introduction of new tools, automation, and process improvements.
## Required Skills
– At least 3 years of experience in finance and accounting.
– Strong independent capability across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end processes.
– Good knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations, including VAT and payroll.
– Excellent spoken and written English.
– Ability to work remotely from anywhere in India with a quiet, distraction-free workspace and reliable internet.
– Availability to overlap with GMT working hours for at least 4 hours each day.

– Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero.
