## About the Role
The Cost Control Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Sharm El Sheikh at DoubleTree by Hilton Sharm ElSheikh Sharm Bay. The role is responsible for monitoring and managing costs across resort operations, including food and beverage, rooms, and leisure activities.
This position works closely with department heads and operational teams to track inventory, maintain stock levels, and identify opportunities to reduce costs while protecting service quality. It also supports forecasting and budgeting activities, with a focus on accuracy, control, and compliance.
The role also includes reviewing purchase orders, checking invoices against contracts and approved budgets, and preparing cost reports. In addition, the Cost Control Manager helps improve cost control processes and systems while ensuring compliance with Hilton policies and local regulations.
## Key Responsibilities
– Monitor and control costs across resort operations, including food and beverage, rooms, and leisure activities
– Analyze cost data and prepare cost reports
– Review purchase orders and verify invoices against contracts and approved budgets
– Work with department heads to track inventory and manage stock levels
– Identify cost-saving opportunities without affecting service quality
– Support forecasting and budgeting processes
– Maintain compliance with Hilton policies and local regulations
– Recommend improvements to cost control procedures and systems
## Required Skills
– Strong financial and analytical skills, including cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting
– Experience with inventory management and cost control in hospitality or a similar service-driven environment
– Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial or ERP systems
– Solid knowledge of accounting principles and internal control practices
– Strong attention to accuracy and detail
– Effective communication and collaboration skills
– Strong organizational and time-management skills
– Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced resort environment
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
– Ability to work on-site in Sharm El Sheikh and adapt to an international, guest-focused work culture
## Preferred Skills
– Previous experience in a cost control or finance role within hotels or resorts
– Professional certifications
– Familiarity with hotel management software
