## About the Role
The Technical Engineer will spend most of their time on Level 3 production support for business-critical applications, with the remaining focus on infrastructure project management. This role combines hands-on technical support with delivery responsibility in an international environment.
The position supports the stability, evolution, and continuous improvement of critical applications while contributing to infrastructure initiatives across modern cloud and DevOps environments. It also plays a part in improving production readiness, resilience, governance, and operational performance.
## Key Responsibilities
– Provide Level 3 support for business-critical production applications.
– Lead infrastructure projects from planning through delivery.
– Coordinate technical teams and stakeholders to support successful execution.
– Support cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
– Define and monitor SLAs and KPIs.
– Drive FinOps, infrastructure optimization, obsolescence management, and cost-saving actions.
– Improve production readiness, resilience, governance, and operational excellence.
– Contribute to DevOps adoption, automation, and continuous improvement.
– Produce technical documentation, reporting, and project governance materials.
– Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and training across teams.
## Required Skills
– Previous experience in Production Support, Infrastructure, or Technical Project Management.
– Strong technical background in several of the following:
– Linux
– WebSphere
– Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
– Docker and Kubernetes
– Ansible
– CFT
– Autosys
– Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure Pipelines.
– Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace.
– Experience managing infrastructure or technical projects.
– Comfort working with reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and data analysis.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
– Strong ownership and results-focused mindset.
– Excellent organization and project coordination skills.
– Fluent English.
## Preferred Skills
– Cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or similar.
– Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira Portfolio, Asana, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.
– Dynatrace certification or prior experience.
– Familiarity with FinOps, infrastructure lifecycle, and application decommissioning.
