Overview:
BrightEdge is hiring a professional to support cloud cost operations, reporting, and execution for a fast-moving SaaS environment. This role is suited for someone with strong ownership, good Excel skills, and a willingness to learn Cloud FinOps in a hands-on setting. who can support execution, follow-ups, invoice coordination, reporting, and operational rigour while growing into broader FinOps responsibilities over time.
Role scope:
This position will support day-to-day cloud cost operations through tracking, reporting, and coordination. The team is looking for candidates with backgrounds in project coordination, PMO, operations, cloud support, and finance operations roles. The role is designed for candidates who are organised, proactive, and willing to learn the FinOps trade. The immediate need is for people who can reliably manage follow-ups, help maintain data hygiene, track invoices and cost-related actions, and build confidence with numbers and reporting.
What will you do?
Support cloud cost tracking, reporting, and basic analysis across ongoing infrastructure and platform usage.
Follow up on invoices, billing items, cost anomalies, action items, and stakeholder requests on time.
Maintain trackers, dashboards, and spreadsheets used for budgeting, reporting, and cost visibility.
Work with internal stakeholders to gather inputs, organise data, and keep execution moving across multiple workstreams.
Assist with basic forecasting, extrapolation, trend tracking, and spreadsheet-based number crunching.
Help prepare summaries and updates for leadership reviews and operational discussions.
Learn Cloud FinOps concepts, cloud billing structures, and cost optimisation practices over time through hands-on exposure.
Bring strong ownership, follow-through, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment where consistency matters.
What You Bring:
1-5 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, operations, business analysis, cloud support, finance operations, or related roles.
Good working knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivots, basic extrapolation, and comfort working with numbers.
Experience managing trackers, reports, dashboards, billing data, operational reviews, or vendor/invoice coordination.
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to follow up clearly and stay organised across multiple tasks.
High learning agility, strong work ethic, and visible hunger to grow into a Cloud FinOps-oriented role.
Exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure operations, procurement, finance workflows, or cost reporting will be helpful.
