Production Support & FinOps Engineer

Are you passionate about production environments, infrastructure and cost optimization in IT platforms? Then this position is for you.
Build Side
As Production Support & FinOps Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting production environments and contributing to cost optimization initiatives (FinOps) in our ecosystem:
Contribute to the implementation and evolution of monitoring and observability solutions for production environments
Support the setup and improvement of automation tools used in infrastructure and production support (Ansible, CI/CD pipelines)
Participate in the design and improvement of DevOps practices to reduce manual intervention and increase system reliability
Contribute to the deployment and configuration of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
Facilitate coordination between development, QA and operations teams in the context of DevOps practices
Run Side
Monitor production environments and infrastructure components (servers, storage, network, middleware)
Support cost-optimization initiatives by monitoring spending, identifying inefficiencies and contributing to FinOps governance activities
Analyze production data and contribute to reporting using Excel and data visualization tools
Coordinate with engineering, finance and business stakeholders on cost, performance and production topics
Produce operational documentation and post-incident analyses when required
Contribute to knowledge sharing and support training or knowledge transfer activities within the team
Support monitoring and observability activities using tools such as Dynatrace
Provide production support in environments involving technologies such as Websphere, CFT, Linux or Autosys

Experience working in production support or infrastructure environments
Interest in production topics, infrastructure and operational monitoring
Ability to analyze operational data and contribute to reporting activities
Comfortable working with technical and functional stakeholders
Interest in FinOps and cost optimization topics

Strengthen knowledge of DevOps tools, monitoring platforms and automation practices

Technical skills (Linux tools, in a DevOps / Cloud environment)
Monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace
Basic knowledge of Websphere, Autosys and CFT file transfer tools
DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure Pipelines
Infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and cloud fundamentals
Experience working with Linux environments
