# Strategy & FinOps Manager

## About the Role
The Strategy & FinOps Manager leads the intersection of financial operations, business planning, and strategic initiatives across SSL LATAM. The role is focused on strengthening financial governance and turning operational and financial insights into actions that support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

This position supports SSL markets in Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica, working closely with Finance, Operations, Product, Commercial, and Strategy teams. It also contributes to planning and review cycles, including AOP and long-range strategic plans, while helping shape regional decisions.

## Key Responsibilities
– Lead regional business planning and FinOps activities across SSL markets.
– Analyze P&L performance with Finance, identifying risks, opportunities, and key operating levers.
– Run planning cycles, including AOP, long-range plans, business reviews, forecasting, and target setting.
– Build governance frameworks, controls, and reporting processes to improve visibility and discipline.
– Coordinate initiatives across Finance, Operations, Product, Commercial, and Strategy.
– Support strategic priorities that improve customer experience, merchant performance, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

## Required Skills
– 6–10 years of experience in Strategy, Finance, Operations, Consulting, Business Planning, or a related analytical field.
– Strong understanding of financial statements, business performance drivers, and P&L management.
– Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
– Fluent in English and Spanish.
– Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.
– Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development skills.
– Ability to work through ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive initiatives independently from problem definition through execution.
– Confidence presenting data-backed recommendations to senior leadership.

## Preferred Skills
– Experience in technology, e-commerce, marketplaces, or delivery, especially groceries.
– Experience with data visualization tools.

## Cloud Platforms & Technologies
– **Programming Languages:** SQL
– **Reporting & BI:** Excel, data visualization tools

## FinOps Responsibilities
– Own financial operations across SSL, including collections, reconciliations, financial controls, and issue resolution.
– Support financial governance and reporting to improve visibility and operational discipline.
– Work with Finance to analyze the P&L, identify risks and opportunities, and understand profitability drivers.
– Lead planning cycles, forecasting exercises, target setting, and review processes.
– Support regional profitability optimization across SSL markets.
