Senior Strategic Sourcing Lead – Technology Procurement
Overview
Seeking a senior-level Strategic Sourcing professional to lead technology procurement initiatives across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise IT categories. This role will own sourcing strategy, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization efforts while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders.
Must Haves
7+ years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience focused on
technology (IT, SaaS, Cloud)
Strong experience negotiating
enterprise SaaS and cloud contracts
Proven expertise in
RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI) processes
Deep understanding of
IT categories (cloud infrastructure, telecom, end-user tech, network)
Experience with
spend analysis, cost modeling, and TCO
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Ability to lead sourcing initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies across technology categories (cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, telecom)
Lead end-to-end RFx processes including vendor evaluation and selection
Negotiate complex contracts and commercial terms with global suppliers
Manage supplier relationships and drive performance against KPIs
Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis and market insights
Partner with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs
Drive category strategy and vendor consolidation initiatives
Nice to Have
Experience in
FinOps or cloud cost optimization
Background in
global enterprise environments
Exposure to
contract/legal frameworks in procurement
Experience sourcing across multiple regions/vendors at scale
Ideal Background
Strategic sourcing or procurement lead supporting
enterprise technology organizations
Experience in
consulting or large-scale corporate environments
Strong exposure to
cloud, SaaS, and infrastructure sourcing
