# Job Description: Senior Finance Analyst – Brazil Fulfillment Centers

## About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to take on a pivotal role within Amazon’s rapidly growing organization, specifically overseeing fixed cost functions for our Brazil Fulfillment Centers. This position is crucial for partnering with business units to enhance decision-making through financial modeling, robust controllership, and effective operational cost management.

The Senior Finance Analyst will collaborate extensively with various retail teams, Fulfillment Centers, and finance professionals to identify best practices and drive cost improvement initiatives. This role will also involve leading the planning process, conducting variance analyses for business reviews, and executing ad hoc financial projects to support operational efficiency.

## Key Responsibilities
– Lead the fixed cost planning and controllership processes.
– Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews focused on fixed costs, forecasting, and planning.
– Drive standardization and simplification of planning processes.
– Develop financial performance tools relevant to the Brazilian market.
– Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to identify improvements and drive cost reductions.
– Build financial models and present analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.
– Establish collaborative partnerships within the finance organization to enhance financial and operational performance.

## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree.
– Experience in finance, tax, or a related analytical field.
– Advanced knowledge of Excel.
– Ability to interpret and apply financial KPIs.
– Proven experience in identifying and executing fixed and/or variable cost improvements.
– Experience in automating and standardizing financial tools and processes.
– Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvements.
– Fluent in English.

## Preferred Skills
– MBA or CPA.
– Experience working with large datasets (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Cognos).
