## About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Renewals Strategy & Operations plays a vital role in supporting Okta’s global Renewals organization, which consists of 67 team members. This position focuses on improving forecasting, planning processes, and systems that safeguard and enhance the company’s retained revenue. The primary mission is to establish a robust analytical framework that drives daily operations and accountability within the Renewals sector.

In this capacity, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop forecasting models, analyze capacity and retention planning, and implement measurement strategies. Your contributions will significantly influence business operations and strategic decisions, ultimately helping to sustain and grow company revenue.

## Key Responsibilities

– **Forecasting:**
– Manage the weekly and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and identifying areas for improvement.
– Develop new models for forecasting to enhance predictive capabilities.

– **Capacity & Retention Planning:**
– Set targets and model capacity for the Renewals organization, ensuring visibility into territory and account health.

– **Accountability & Measurement:**
– Collaborate with leadership on incentive structures and performance metrics.
– Own and produce regular reports to measure organizational effectiveness, including product depth and adoption.

– **Analysis & Automation:**
– Utilize AI tools for analysis and guide data-driven decision-making.
– Enhance team reporting systems for increased self-service and operational efficiency.

## Required Skills

– 3 to 5+ years of experience in operational analytics, FP&A, or revenue operations, ideally within a GTM, sales, Customer Success, or post-sales context.
– Proficient in Salesforce and Tableau; knowledge of tools like Clari, Gainsight, and Jira is preferred.
– Familiarity with AI/ML tools and data pipelines for directing analysis.
– Solid understanding of SaaS financial metrics and business analysis.
– Proven capability to collect, interpret data, and communicate findings concisely to stakeholders.
– Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
– Structured problem-solving skills with iterative testing of solutions.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for senior stakeholders.

## Preferred Skills

– Experience in analytics within a SaaS environment is beneficial.
