# Senior Financial Analyst
## About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst on our Global Finance team plays a key role in enhancing financial reporting and analysis. This position is critical for project execution and collaboration with stakeholders across various regions and member firms. You will mentor junior analysts, leverage analytical skills to drive process improvements, and provide insights that inform strategic decision-making. Your work will have a significant impact on the organization by ensuring efficient financial operations and supporting business profitability.
## Key Responsibilities
– Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on finance and business processes.
– Conduct detailed financial statement analysis, including profit and loss and balance sheets, delivering actionable insights.
– Manage monthly and quarterly financial cycles, including budgeting and forecasting, with minimal oversight.
– Assume leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality work and managing project deliverables.
– Create and maintain advanced financial models, dashboards, and databases to analyze key cost drivers.
– Act as the primary finance liaison for designated Profit Centers, coordinating with stakeholders and addressing queries.
– Develop expertise in SAP, Anaplan, Analysis for Office, and advanced Excel, driving system enhancements.
– Identify and rectify data or process gaps, providing recommendations for improvement.
– Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their development and integration.
– Collaborate with Global Finance colleagues on key initiatives and maintain project documentation.
## Required Skills
– Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA, CMA, or equivalent).
– 4–6 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or finance operations, preferably in a multinational organization.
– Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and budget forecasting cycles.
– Advanced proficiency in SAP (ECC), Anaplan, ServiceNow, Analysis for Office, and other ERP/reporting platforms.
– Expert-level skills in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
