REQUIREMENTS:
· 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud cost modeling, cloud management, and/or FinOps
· Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred)
· Strong understanding of FinOps principles, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
· Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis
· Experience with cost-management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Athena, Kubecost, or Cloudability
· Experience working with AWS CUR or FOCUS files
· Strong SQL and Microsoft Excel skills
· Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities
· Experience integrating with multiple cloud providers’ APIs
· Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools is a strong plus
· FinOps Certified Practitioner or cloud certifications are nice to have
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Centralize and consolidate multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP) cost and usage data
· Refine tagging and cost-allocation strategies to improve cost attribution and reporting accuracy
· Define KPIs across key cloud services and provide actionable cost insights to engineering and leadership teams
· Monitor cloud expenses, identify cost drivers, and recommend optimization opportunities
· Build forecasting models and support budgeting and financial planning exercises
· Partner with engineering, finance, and product teams to improve cloud financial efficiency
· Lead cost optimization initiatives including reserved instances, savings plans, and workload optimization
· Implement monitoring, budget alerts, and anomaly detection processes
· Support and improve internal FinOps tooling and automation workflows using Python and cloud APIs
· Promote FinOps best practices, governance standards, and financial accountability across the organization
· Collaborate proactively with teammates and contribute to a strong operational culture
· Help drive FinOps maturity at scale within a multi-cloud environment
