– Manage Reserved Instances and Savings Plans, including renewal planning and stakeholder engagement ahead of expiry windows.
– Monitor AI/LLM workloads and provide cost optimisation insights.
– Deliver reporting and insights for stakeholders, including dashboards and self-service analytics.
– Track actuals against budgets, explain variances, and support phased forecasts and annual planning commentary.
– Refine cost allocation methods and validate cloud credits.
– Develop unit economics metrics to improve SaaS margin visibility.
– Take ownership of recommendations from opportunity identification through to savings validation.
– Partner with engineering, product, finance, and external vendors to deliver cost-saving initiatives and optimise cloud contracts.
– Build FinOps literacy through mentoring, lunch-and-learns, and wider community participation.
– Stay current with FinOps developments, the FOCUS specification, and emerging AI cost management practices.
– Maintain compliance with data governance, security, and confidentiality requirements.
## Required Skills
