# Senior Cloud FinOps Specialist
## About the Role
This senior role focuses on cloud financial management across a multi-cloud environment. Its purpose is to bridge Technology, Finance, and Business teams to optimize cloud spending, strengthen financial governance, and maximize the value generated by cloud investments.
You will work closely with Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to build FinOps practices, improve cost visibility, and support decision-making through reporting, KPIs, and executive recommendations. The position is based in Lisbon, Porto, or remote, and involves national and/or international projects.
## Key Responsibilities
– Define and implement FinOps practices aligned with organizational goals.
– Monitor, analyze, and optimize costs across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
– Develop cost allocation, chargeback/showback, and financial reporting models for business teams and leadership.
– Identify optimization opportunities through rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, and other efficiency initiatives.
– Partner with Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.
– Define and track cloud consumption KPIs, metrics, and dashboards.
– Support cloud budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processes.
– Ensure best practices in governance, tagging, cost control, and compliance.
– Prepare executive presentations and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
– Contribute to the organization’s cloud strategy and promote a cross-functional FinOps culture.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Management, Economics, or a related field.
– 7+ years of professional experience, including relevant experience in Cloud FinOps or Cloud Cost Management.
– Proven experience in multi-cloud environments: Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
– Strong understanding of cloud architectures and cloud consumption/billing models.
– Experience managing cloud service finances, cost analysis, and resource optimization.
– Strong analytical skills and results orientation.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Fluency in Portuguese and English.
