## About the Role
This Senior Project Manager role is focused on leading large-scale system development and cloud platform initiatives. The main objective is to advance a strategic multi-cloud environment into an enterprise-grade Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
The position works across business strategy and technical delivery, partnering with executive stakeholders, engineering teams, Private Cloud/SRE organizations, and business units. It is responsible for helping deliver high-impact initiatives across both infrastructure and application domains.
A key part of the role is ensuring projects are delivered with strong governance, predictable execution, and clear communication to senior leadership. The scope also includes cloud cost management and support for budgeting and chargeback/showback efforts.
## Key Responsibilities
– Lead end-to-end delivery of complex system development and cloud platform projects.
– Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables aligned to business goals.
– Manage project execution using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall delivery approaches.
– Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
– Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
– Prepare executive-level project updates, reports, and presentations.
– Coordinate cross-functional teams to support consistent and high-quality delivery.
– Support multi-cloud and IDP initiatives across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Private Cloud environments.
– Promote governance, security, compliance, and operational standardization across cloud platforms.
– Oversee cloud cost management, budgeting, and chargeback/showback activities.
## Required Skills
– 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Technical/Engineering Management.
– Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects in complex environments.
– Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
– Experience with public cloud and/or private cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, or Private Cloud.
– Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Asana, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
– Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
– Ability to translate technical topics into clear business-focused executive updates.
– Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resource planning.
– Business-level English communication skills.
## Preferred Skills
– PMP or another relevant project management certification.
– Experience with FinOps, cloud financial management, or chargeback/showback models.
– Familiarity with Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and developer portals such as Backstage.
– Understanding of enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC2.
– Background in software engineering, infrastructure, cloud, or SRE environments.
– Experience leading organization-wide transformation, platform adoption, or process improvement initiatives.
